On December 4th the San Diego Chapter met at the home of Erin and Spencer Rickwa for the Chapter's monthly meeting and to share some Christmas cheer. After a reading and reflection on Fr. Joe Veneroso's MM prayer, "God Knows", found in the latest Maryknoll Magazine, there was a lively discussion on the need to protect children from persons who take advantage of a child's vulnerability.
Among the reports by those attending, Erin and Spencer announced that they have formed a non-profit organization, "Bridges to Healing" Health Care for Orphans. This is in preparation for their future mission to Cochabamba, Bolivia. The web page is:
