Upon leaving the seminary he continued his studies at De La Salle University Manila Philippines. Lee and Punch immigrated to the United States in 1973 and when the attraction to Maryknoll started. Lee has a strong love for mission and to cultivate this love he sought a missionary group that is truly dedicated to mission and he found it in Maryknoll. He became a Maryknoll affiliate in 1992 and helped start the Greater Los Angeles Chapter. He was involved in many of the chapter’s activities, but foremost of these was the visit to San Pedro Immigration Detention Center in Long Beach California. Lee moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004 and started an affiliate chapter in 2005. The chapter’s main activity is reaching out to the homeless and marginalized while working with a diocesan priest, who also has a great admiration for Maryknoll.
