We had a very informative day at the St. Joseph Center in Orange. There were quite a number of parishes from several dioceses in So. Cal. present at the Pax Christi Assembly Day. Maryknoll was well represented: Sister Kathryn, Irma, Tim, Veronica, Sister Marge, Sister Kathleen and myself.
The speaker gave a wonderful presentation of his recent book
(Be Not Afraid: An Alternative to the War on Terror), Tom Cordaro. Other presenters gave updates on Anti-Racism initiatives as well as suggestions on how to conduct a Pax Christi group at a parish level. The day concluded with Mass celebrated by San Gabriel Region Bishop Gabino Zavala.
