Maryknoll Affiliates

Maryknoll Affiliates gather in local Chapters for times or prayer, reflection and mutual support. A Chapter may be primarily a place for support among people who are already very involved in social action work in their communities or even their job.

Other Chapters do choose to take on some kind of activity. These vary widely, but have included promoting fair trade goods, organizing speakers or forums around issues of global concern, writing letters to representatives advocating for the rights of the poor, especially in countries where Maryknoll works and connecting with Maryknoll missioners and their mission overseas.
