Maryknoll Affiliates

An active Maryknoll Affiliate Chapter has at least four persons. The first step is to bring together a group of people interested in becoming Maryknoll Affiliates. During the initial inquiry, we would send you a starter packet to give you a general overview of the Maryknoll Affiliates to help you determine if you would like to proceed.

If your group decides that it would like to form a Maryknoll Affiliate Chapter, you would then enter into the formation program. The formation program is a twelve session program with units on Maryknoll history, the Maryknoll spirit and charism, the four pillars of the Maryknoll Affiliates, global concerns and some practical matters of being as active Maryknoll Affiliate Chapter. The formation program is primarily self directed, though someone from the Maryknoll Affiliates or from Maryknoll would join you in the opening and closing retreat. We also consider this to be a period of mutual discernment, allowing those interested and the Maryknoll Affiliates to see if this is the right path for the group.
