The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation dedicated the "Sacrifice Window" in the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel at the National Museum of the Marine Corps on May 11 to honor Chaplain Vincent Capodanno who had been a Maryknoll Father. You can read the full article and see pictures at:

Vincent Capodanno was a Marine chaplain during the Vietnam War.
Additional information about Father Capodanno:
- Born February 13, 1929 in Staten Island, New York.
- Entered Maryknoll during 1949 and was ordained June 14, 1958.
- His first assignment in mission was to Miaoli in Formosa.
- During 1965, he was granted permission to join the U.S. Navy as a chaplain. He volunteered for duty in Vietnam and served with the Marines.
- Killed during an ambush on September 4, 1967. Though wounded, he continued to administer to others who were hurt.
- He is buried in a family plot in St. Peter’s Cemetery on Staten Island.
