Ossining, NY. “Music for the World,” the Maryknoll Sisters’ Sixth Annual Benefit Concert, will be held Sunday, March 4, at 3:00 p.m. at the Maryknoll Sisters Center, 10 Pinesbridge Road in Ossining. Proceeds from the ticket price -- $25.00 per person -- support the Sisters’ global outreach in mission in 25 countries around the world.

Selections at this year’s concert, featuring The Hudson Valley Symphonic Wind Ensemble with James D. Wayne and Barry Morrison conducting and Soprano Lisbeth Lloyd and baritone Rob Weintraub performing, will include pieces from “Porgy and Bess,” Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man,” and Good Friday music from “Parsifal.”
The 45-member Wind Ensemble generously performs annual full-length concerts to benefit charitable organizations like ours.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, Maryknoll Sisters is the first U.S.-based congregation of Catholic women religious dedicated to foreign mission. Currently numbering nearly 500 members, the Sisters provide humanitarian aid and other services to people in 25 nations around the world.

Make right onto Ryder Road, which becomes Pinesbridge Road. You'll be going over the Route 9A overpass.

Alternate Route from North
Take Route 9 south to Route 9A (Croton vicinity).
Follow Route 9A south for 2.8 miles to the Ryder Road exit.
Make right onto Ryder Road, which becomes Pinesbridge Road. You'll be going over the Route 9A overpass heading east.
Follow for 0.5 mile.

From South
Take any major highway to Hawthorne Interchange (Hawthorne, New York).
(Options: Taconic State Parkway, Sprain Brook Parkway, Saw Mill River Parkway or Route 9A.)
From the Hawthorne Interchange, take the Taconic State Parkway north for 6.6 miles to the Pinesbridge Road exit.
Make left onto Pinesbridge Road, which becomes Ryder Road.
Follow for 2.2 miles.

Alternate Route from South
From Hawthorne, New York, take Route 9A north (4.7 miles) to Route 133/Somerstown Road exit.
Make right onto Route 133 and follow for 0.6 mile.
Make left onto Brookside Lane. Follow to the end (0.2 mile).
Make a right onto Pinesbridge Road/Ryder Road.
Maryknoll Sisters is located on the right-hand side, approximately 0.5 mile from the intersection.
From East
Take Westchester Expressway, Route 287 west, to exit 3, Sprain Brook Parkway North.
(Note: From the Merritt, Hutchinson, or Route 684, it is 6.3 miles to exit 3.)
Follow Sprain Brook Parkway north to Taconic State Parkway. These two highways merge just north of the Westchester Medical Center.
Take the Taconic State Parkway north for 6.6 miles to the Pinesbridge Road exit.
Make left onto Pinesbridge Road, which becomes Ryder Road.
Follow for 2.2 miles.
Maryknoll Sisters is located on the left-hand side.
From West
Take the NY State Thruway (Route 87) to the Tappan Zee Bridge.
From toll booths, continue east for 2 miles to exit 8 (Cross Westchester Expressway, Route 287).
Stay in the right lane and take exit 1.
Veer to the left once on ramp and follow to Saw Mill River Parkway North.
Take Saw Mill River Parkway for 4.5 miles to the Taconic State Parkway - Albany exit.
Take the Taconic State Parkway for 6.6 miles to the Pinesbridge Road exit.
Make left onto Pinesbridge Road, which becomes Ryder Road.
Follow for 2.2 miles.
