In celebration of the Maryknoll Centennial the Affiliates co sponsored a gathering with the Justice and Peace Ministry of the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River where Beth Begley is a parishioner. Maryknoll Sister Bernice Rigney spoke on "Giving and Receiving – My experience in Mission" about her experiences in Africa working with survivors of trauma and violence and also with small Christian communities. She engaged the group in a process of reflection – have each choose a stone and share an association or memory it evoked.
