On October 18, 2009, the New York City Subway Chapter spent time reflecting on the meaning of mission for Mission Sunday. Mary D'Arcy prepared the following questions.
We all have a keen interest in mission and in other cultures. What form of expression does this take in our present lives? Does our affiliation with Maryknoll fulfill some of that?
What toes mission mean to each of us? What essential words captivate that meaning? How has it been experienced in our lives in the past? How is it expressed in our Chapter today? How can we be more in tune with what mission is today?
