The students are busy buying Christmas presents for local kids who have cancer or have a sibling with cancer.
They are also busy making friendship bracelets and Christmas cards to send to kids in Tanzania and Cambodia. We were thrilled to get a large envelope filled with letters and drawings from the girls at Emusoi.
We are also going to teach an Advent/mission lesson to the second and third graders at St. James this week.
[Maryknoll Lay Missioner] Kathy Dunford (RBC 1961, MLM in Kenya) has written to us asking us to pray for and help a young Kenyan girl in serious need of surgery so Maria Safuna is our January project.
