Welcome to the Fox Cities Chapter Webpage

Fox Cities Chapter - Maryknoll Affiliates meet three times a year at the home of Kathleen (Kathie) Gribble (Contact the Chapter for directions)

We usually meet on the fourth Sunday of January, April, and September at 3:30 – 5:30 followed by a potluck dinner.

Our members are active in local community issues that are important to our most vulnerable citizens and participate in ecumenical efforts toward world peace. We meet for prayer and reflection, for sharing activities we are involved in, and to support one another in mission. Through community building, spiritual nurturing, and legislative advocacy, we support issues related to social and economic justice and peace. We work with other like-minded organizations such as ESTHER (Gamaliel Fdn), Bread For the World, JustFaith, and a Salesian Mission orphanage in Bolivia.

Two members of our Fox Cities Maryknoll Affiliates attended “Advocacy Day at the Capitol”, March 15th, 2011, in Madison, Wisconsin. This annual event gathers people of various churches, synogogues and mosques to advocate with their state senators and representatives about issues that affect the common good of communities, and especially of those who find themselves in poverty. The timing couldn’t have been better, as it was on a Tuesday after the Saturday that our 14 Democratic senators had returned to Madison and appeared at the last huge rally to oppose the Budget Repair Bill of governor Walker.
