Maryknoll Affiliates and Maryknoll Missioners are encouraged and welcome to submit articles for publication in Not So Far Afield. All articles are subject to editing by the Editorial Committee. Articles should be limited to 600 words or less unless otherwise determined by the Editorial Committee (lead or main articles may be longer). Pictures are always welcome and encouraged.

Articles should be written in clean, sharp prose and directed toward the Maryknoll Affiliates, Maryknoll Missioners and others interested in Maryknoll and mission. You may format the article to emphasize particular points (bullets, italics, bold etc.), but formatting is subject to change so that it is consistent with the formatting of Not So Far Afield.

Any references to other sources should be clearly cited. It is the responsibility of the author to obtain permission for the use of any copyrighted material, including photos or graphics.

Articles should relate to the theme for the issue, though general articles are always welcome. An article may be held for a later issue if it is more appropriate for another theme or for lack of space. The Editorial Committee also has the right to refuse publication or to recommend that it be published on our website instead of in Not So Far Afield (this may be for reasons of space or timing or both).

Photos or graphics can be sent by email or hard copy. Digital images should be saved and sent at the best quality as possible.
