Begun by San Diego Chapter Maryknoll Affiliates Erin and Spencer Rickwa, Bridges to Healing "seeks to improve the quality of life and life expectancy for children living in orphanages through facilitating access to available resources." Bridges to Healing aims "to create a 'bridge' between the orphanage and local and international resources to provide health care in the orphanage."

Maryknoll Affiliate Renate Schneider it the Coordinator for Haitian Connection. The Haitian Connection – Koneksyon Ayiti has been established as a compassionate response to the poverty and misery that so many Haitians face.

Search for Peace Art Exhibit
The Purpose of the Search For Peace Art Events is to encourage Peacemaking!
We (the Portland Chapter of the Maryknoll Affiliates) heard about "THE SEARCH FOR PEACE" at the Northwest Regional Maryknoll Affiliate Conference. Fr. Jim Hogan began The Search For Peace in 2001 in Missoula, Montana. Through this annual local event hundreds of artists and attendees have contributed their art work and been motivated to search, talk, and work for peace. This inspired us to begin the Search for Peace Art Events in Portland, Oregon.
