Position (20 - 25 hours) Available in El Paso

The Encuentro Project in El Paso, Texas, is seeking a part-time director for its border immersion program.  Primary responsibilities include:

·       Program promotion and public relations;

·       Building and sustaining collaboration with external organizations;

·       Collaboration with the program coordinator and staff on the design, promotion, evaluation and growth of the program.

·       Financial responsibility for the budget;

·       Oversight of facilities

·       Ex-officio service on the board of directors.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree required

·       Bilingual English and Spanish

·       Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing a nonprofit

·       Proven experience in fundraising and development

·       Knowledge of the realities of migrants on southern border strongly preferred.
