Save the Date – May 20th 7PM

 A story, from another or our own, can add meaning and perspective to our lives in a way that an academic presentation cannot. A story shared can inspire courage and compassion, even shift our perspective and help us to see new possibilities. A story can turn ordinary moments into something that feels memorable.

 
On May 20th at 7pm ET –4pm PT, Fr. John Sivalon MM will share a story from his youth growing up in Montana that would shape a good part of his life as a person, priest and missioner. In the conversations and plenary session among those of us gathered, John’s story invites us all to share stories from our own lives that have shaped us.

In the time following small group discussion, there will be Q&A with John.

All is Connected - The Spirituality of Our Common Home.

Todo está conectado, la naturaleza no es un recurso explotable, sino un don amoroso de Dios.  La espiritualidad nos lleva a contemplar la presencia de Dios en cada criatura.
Implica un cambio interior profundo en nuestros hábitos, estilo de vida más sencillos, consumo responsable.  Reconocer que la crisis ambiental golpea primero a los pobres, por lo que exige justicia y solidaridad con los vulnerables.


Everything is interconnected; nature is not a resource to be exploited, but a loving gift from God. Spirituality leads us to contemplate God’s presence in every creature.

It involves a profound inner transformation in our habits, a simpler lifestyle, and responsible consumption. Recognizing that the environmental crisis hits the poor hardest, it demands justice and solidarity with the vulnerable.
